Best Chinese restaurant in California. Food is always amazing. Been going for years and have literally never had an issue. Nicest staff and a great atmosphere. Try the Orange Chicken and the Hot and Sour soup. So amazing.

Great food, staff came from Grand China Restaurant on ming. I always order Chicken pan fried noodles and the Chicken in orange sauce, (orange chicken). The service is slow but friendly.

I've read good reviews, and being new to Bakersfield, I was looking forward to eating here. I was disappointed, and not sure I will finish the leftovers.

I ordered the Sweet & Sour Pork, Shrimp & Vegetables, and Egg Rolls for takeout. At first I went into the restaurant to place the order, but there was no one at the front desk. Three parties were already waiting for someone to come out and greet them. Waited for 5 mins or so, then picked up a takeout menu, went out to my car, called in to place the order, and got through right away. Turnaround time was good, ready in 20 mins from time of call.

Both entrees were exceedingly bland and felt to my mouth like they had a coat of oil. Really disappointing, especially Sweet & Sour anything - hard to even make that dish bland? The entrees come in tall plastic tubs, so maybe it's in part that they are sort of stewing in a sauce that is heavy on oil. Maybe the oil mutes the taste? Dunno, but no flavor at all. Disappointing when you are craving Chinese food, and decide to spend the money to eat out.

The good thing is that both entrees had lots of really fresh, crisp, green vegetables - sugar snap peas, broccoli, carrots, zucchini, and the traditional white Chinese crisp vegetables - part of what I was looking for. That part had a deliciousness that shone through.

The egg rolls were unremarkable, no sign of color (vegetables), but I like the dipping sauce. Not a food I would even choose to eat again.

When I go for Chinese again, I will definitely go to any other restaurant. Bland and oily, just, not sure I'll even finish what I bought.

Nice folks, when they finally appeared!

Loved the Ginger Beef and Asparagus with Shrimp n black bean sauce. A little slow on service but worth the wait. We'll b back again
