Cute little hookah restaurant with great hookah and decent food.

The staff was friendly (but not overly) and the place was packed on a weekend nigjht, which I find is always a good sign.

Good place to come with a group of friends or on a date.

Asked for check after having lunch for two - the Waitress added an automatic tip of 20% to the bill, and conveniently did not give me a copy of the bill... Nice. Obviously I'm not allowed to decide, and not to be trusted. I was going to tip anyway, more like 15-18% - it's my decision. Well, it's New York and reputation is everything. Because of that 2% self-determination I Won't be going back, won't recommend and don't think they should have their outdoor dining extended for this rather sneaky-nasty treatment of customers.

One of my favorite hookah bars in NYC - the staff here is so friendly and attentive! They also have the best, crispiest french fries in the city, so make sure to order a side of fries with your hookah!

Too expensive for the quality. I think they have a $30 minimum per person cover charge at night and a one drink minimum during the day!

Service really depends on the day. There used to be a cute British waitress who was really nice but I don't know if she's still there. Overall I would say this is a pretty meh place for hookah though their food is allright.

I was there yesterday, it's near my home and I wanted to treat a dear friend who has never had the hookah experience. We were four, my husband and daughter included. I was asked where i'd like to be seated and I said outside, I was told it could be a 15 min wait. I said I would not mind. Within 10 min another party came up and asked to be seated I looked away and seconds later the same host comes up to me and tells me that it will have to be $30 minimum per person, he made as if he was doing me a favor stating that he rather tell me now. I was floored, not about the $30, but about the fact that he felt he needed to tell me. I asked where was it written and I got no response. I indicated that I had been there before and was never approached in such a manner. I wanted to tell him that the last time i was there it was only my husband and I and we had spent over $200 in drinks, food and hookah and that although they had included a gratuity in the check we mistakenly paid a tip (and I never made a mention of it at that time) so that he could be sure I was going to be paying more than $30 a head. Instead I told him that we were disappointed in his approach and therefore we no longer wished to eat there. I can only base my review on my first visit, the visit in which we were not treated rudely (perhaps because we were dressed up that day and they were sure we had money) the food was ok, I've had better. The decor, place looks too crowded inside tables too close together as they make room for the dancer that they sometimes have, that's why I opt to sit outside. The service is horrible, even that first time we sat around too long to be served. LIke I said for a party of two (the first time) they included the gratuity on the check and never told us about it, verbally nor in writing. Cost per person? They want to make sure you are spending more than $30 per person so don't bring any light eaters and make sure your guests all drink. Or better yet go elsewhere, the lower east side is full of hookah places and I myself will be taking that advice and exploring my wonderful neighborhood for a different hookah place that treats it's locals as well as it's visitors, with respect.
