Small portions, poor cuts of white meat, rude male owner. I'll travel further for better Indian food in east northport

I recently went here for my first taste of Indian food. The location was very convenient, although I could imagine that if I wasn't within walking distance, I would complain about the hardship of parking in this area.

The menu had a large variety of choices, which was wonderful, and the staff was willing to explain the items to me, as I was unfamiliar with things. I loved the fact that they placed a large bowl of rice on the table for everyone to share, that was a nice touch. I have not a single complaint about the food, everything was wonderful!

They do need to hire some more staff though. It was a Saturday night and I only saw a total of 5 wait staff. We were seated right away, but it was 15 minutes before our drink order was taken and it took about 25 minutes to take the check from us and have our left overs wrapped.

All in all though, I would definitely go back and try the rest of their menu out!

Consistently good food and they're not afraid to make it spicy when you ask for it! Food is what you expect in a traditional, family-run Indian restaurant, and very well done. One of the better meals available in Huntington.

I would still drive south 10 miles and go to hicksville for more authenic indian food
