05/25/2016 5:47 pmI usually don't eat Chinese, but this place is pretty authentic compared to regular Chinese carry out places. Plus price is great for its flavors. But obviously it's nothing like the Chinese foods in China. Service is okay. |

02/06/2016 12:53 amOrdered the lunch special: garlic shrimp and it was disgusting! Gave me a box full of celery and 4 shrimp! Unacceptable! Not worth the time or money... I will continue to go to Cafe Asia! |

01/12/2016 12:22 amI've been eating here for six years now. They definitely improved about three years ago. They serve good food, and the delivery is fast and arrives in good shape. The diverse menu provides some cool options when you need a change of pace. The staff are somewhat perfunctory in conversation, but nothing's ever late and your order is always right, which is what you want. |

12/27/2015 2:40 amFirst of all, I'm a Taiwanese not Chinese. Plus, bubble tea was created by Taiwanese. Here is the thing, I ordered a bubble tea for 4.40 including tax tonight out of homesick. The bubble tea itself was barely ok but the pearls were disgusting, which are not chewy and tasty at all. Once you put them in your mouth, they just broke down into small lumps, which shouldn't happen to a "normal" bubble tea. What's worse, I ordered a cold bubble tea, and they gave you warm one instead. As soon as I had a sip of this shxt , I threw them in a garbage can. I haven't had the chance to try their dishes, but I certainly won't. I had an awesome bubble tea once in Brooklyn from a Chinese restaurant which they sold it less than 4 dollars, and I was very pleased. In my opinion, it is unacceptable and unmoral for the Chinese restaurant to sell customers this shxt that doesn't worth half of the money I paid. I hope this restaurant won't go out of business. |

08/29/2015 1:50 amThe food was excellent and the wait staff was relatively friendly. We ordered off the Chinese Menu which was translated into English (except for one extra item on each page that was handwritten in Chinese on a piece of paper). The standard menu has all the regular Chinese-American dishes and it's fine if that's what you're looking for. But the Chinese menu is much more authentic and it's the reason we're already planning another dinner at Hunan Gate. The only downside is that it looks pretty terrible. This place could really use a makeover. |
