Excellent dive bar with cheap large draft beers and bad Chinese food.

I would give this a solid "ok." We ordered delivery and got a little bit of everything. Fried dumplings, salt and pepper wings, pad thai, spring rolls, wonton soup, and orange chicken.

Food: ok. It's definitely not authentic anything, but it was hit or miss. The salt and pepper wings were great, the spring rolls were a little doughy tasting and overly greasy, the orange chicken sauce tasted like fake oranges, but the chicken itself was white meat and tempura battered and solid. The fried dumplings were great. The pad thai was delicious, but I would not call it pad thai... it had jalapenos and some sort of sweet sauce on it that is definitely not even close to traditional, but it was tasty nonetheless. The wonton soup was actually really good and the most authentic thing there. I would order the wings, the dumplings, the wonton soup, and the pad thai again, but don't recommend the pad thai if you want something actually thai.

Service: Really fast delivery- just more than half an hour, so we appreciated that because we were super hungry. However, the phone/customer service is AWFUL. We called once because my friend had a question about her food and the person answering the phone spoke no English at all and couldn't answer her and hung up. Then we called again after ordering online to make sure my pad thai didn't have any peanuts because I'm allergic, and the same thing happened again. Needless to say, my pad thai showed up with peanuts and I had to scrape the whole top layer off and hope for the best. It was really frustrating to not be able to communicate with the person on the phone, so don't expect much if you need to speak with someone.

Overall, it's hit or miss per dish here and the customer service is awful, but if you're going for happy hour/dine in or you just want some ok non-traditional speedy Asian food, you might like it.

Went by Hunan One for happy hour on a Friday afternoon. My husband got one of their ginormous beers for $4.75 and I got a sushi roll. The sushi was fabulous. Honestly one of the better sushi rolls I've ever had and definitely the best I've had in DC/NOVA. The atmosphere is decent, not somewhere you would go for a nice evening out, more just tables & chairs. And unless you like to be around a little bit of rowdiness, I recommend going to happy hour early, because after everyone has two of those large beers the noise level rises and the lights get turned down & the club-like music starts around 10pm.
