05/17/2015 12:28 pmWe went to the Iberia tavern for dinner celebrating our Daughter's Master's graduation. This was on May 15,2015. I really don't see us going back, the food was great but the service was horrible! Why can"t these people smile hello "Customer Service is with a smile". If we talked to our waiter in Spanish he seemed like he didn't understand of course if we tried English he was out of it. This was an old grumpy man and to add with a miserable look on his face constantly. Then I was observing them, all the young ones had a straight face also. The Lady who greeted us at the door, I must say, did smile as we walked in and out. |

04/20/2015 6:52 amIf you want frozen food, a horrible customer service experience, and a rude manager then this is the restaurant to go to. I don't even write reviews on places but this place takes the cake. On Saturday I met with some friends and came to this restaurant. We sat down but we had to repeatedly, 3 or 4 times, to ask for water and bread. However, we kept being ignored. Once we finally got it, the bread was stale. It kinda reminded me of the bread you would feed the ducks with at the park. We ordered our food. One of my friends had the chicken Marsala, three of us had the garlic chicken, and one had chicken and rice. Once we got the food everything did not taste fresh. It was all frozen items. To be honest, I could have gone to the store to buy some Goya Rice, Frozen Mixed Vegetables, frozen fries, and some chicken breast and it would have turned out a lot better. When we wanted to express our experience to the manager, we had to wait 20-30 minutes for him to arrive from the other location which was right across the street. When we had a conversation with him he was very rude like we were lying and trying to get out of a bill. He kept stating that 500 people have been served the food and they had no complaints. I tried to explain to him that we are all individuals and you can't place us with the 500 people. He kept asking for what was specifically wrong and we repeatedly told him, 5-6 times, what was wrong. The three of us that had the garlic chicken had the same exact complaint. Food tasted frozen, it was overly salty, and it wasn't the quality we were expecting for the price that we were paying. The manager did nothing to try to rectify the situation. This restaurant was just a bad experience and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I wouldn't even feed this to a dog. |

02/26/2013 9:05 pmI've been going to this place for many years and the quality has stayed excellent. It is loud so not great for a romantic date but with a group of friends it's perfect. I always get the stuffed lobsters. Sooo good. The shrimp in garlic to start is delicious. The homemade potato slices are also excellent. The sangria is cheap and does the job. Fast friendly service every time. Free parking in the lot across the street. |
