The food here is great. I especially like the teriyaki beef and the good selection of sushi. It's the only buffet I'd visit on a regular basis and did until the last visit here. Why?
Part of the decoration are these divider panels, which look nice overall. Except these things are free standing. The lady at the next table over was there with who I presume were her daughter and the daughter's baby. Somehow the lady wedged the diaper bag between her chair and the panel which caused it to fall over and onto my wife, with enough force that part of the frame broke. I stood it back up while the lady apologized and then hastily left. As I was standing this thing back up, I kept looking around to see if any of the staff was coming over to help but no.
We paid and left, without any kind of apology by anybody that works there. Guess we were lucky they did not charge us for the damage.

Excellent food. Even my kids love coming here! And usually, unless it's fast food, they are hard to please. lol The food is always fresh and the buffet always looks nice and clean. The wait staff is very nice as well.

I would highly recommend Ichiban to anyone who enjoys sushi and Asian cuisine!
They offer a wide variety of sushi, made fresh throughout the day. In all, probably between 15-20 different types of Nigiri-sushi, Maki-sushi, and Inari-sushi, are available at any time during the day. They will also prepare individual requests. Along with sushi, they offer a delicious selection of cold salads (tomato, spinach-chicken, Kim-chi salad - my favorite), and an excellent selection of cooked entrees (teriyaki chicken/beef, stuffed shrimp, crab, rice, noodles, soup, tempura, etc).

Ichiban is not a typical Asian/Chinese super buffet. You can expect to pay a little more ($9-13) but the quality, service and selection is definitely worth the price. I was hooked after the first visit and have been back several times since.
