Ihop, Arlington, Virginia, American Restaurant Details

Food:

In the heart of Ballston....always open. Gives me my fix for wonderful pancakes and breakfast food. Service can sometimes vary but always in acceptable range. Can get crowded. Staff handles it well I think. Good atmosphere. I go here at least biweekly and have never had bad food. Definitely one of their better locations.

Food:

Horrible service. Food is good. I got confused with the jar of coffee and asked for clarification. They charged me twice for the jar of coffee because I shared with my friend( I didn't know that i had to pay twice if asked for another cup ) which I was willing to pay, however, the manager came and was so unfriendly.. Literally he was a jerk. I'm very kind person but he treated us like I didn't want to pay, what a horrible customer service. I usually go to IHOP In Rockville, those people know how to treat another Humam being.. Never ever again to this ihop.

Food:

This has to be one of the most frustrating restaurants in the DC/VA/MD area. Let's start with the cooking as it is the most important. The cooks always under cook the food where at least 1 items is not prepared enough. On one instance the cook under-prepared an ENTIRE meal - all 4 items. As far as ordering, the wait staff doesn't know what they are and are not supposed to do. For instance, sometimes a waiter will let you replace certain sides with other sides while others won't such as getting fruit instead of meat. One thing they are consistent about though is never having avocados on hand. This is strange because the main feature of some of the meals is the avocado. I have tried giving this location numerous chances, but it just sucks more often than not. This is unfortunate because my girl friend really likes IHOP, but I refuse to go to this location because of how disappointing of an experience it is.

Food:

I often stop there on weekday afternoons. The atmosphere then is unhurried and the servers are very courteous and kind to us customers, even to more difficult clients like the homeless and persons with mental disabilities and seniors with limited resources and lots of dietary issues. The food has always been good and prepared to specifications and the restaurant is clean but what I come back for is the service which is exceptionally good in this day when most servers seem to be indifferent to anything other than turning tables around as quickly as possible.

Food:

Best service at an IHOP I have ever been to. They really do care about customers here. I came in about twice a week and they always greeted me warmly and with a smile. Felt like family here.
