Ikea, Brooklyn, New York, American Restaurant Details

Food:

I've been waiting for almost 2 hours at Furniture Pick-up...for just two small wire baskets. Something that should be in the Self-Service area. They have one guy working, another guy floating around. People AFTER me have picked up their orders BEFORE me by complaining to the workers when they can't take the wait any longer. I won't say the workers are incompetent at their job, but the system is totally inefficient, so the service fails as a whole.

Food:

First, as others have described, the lines in the store are very slow (over an hour to check out and another hour plus to wait in the next line to sign up for home delivery). Staff is frustratingly incompetent which holds up the process. But the terrible shopping experience isn't even the worst part. We have been waiting for a refund which was approved on April 16. It's now May 12 and nothing has been processed. The prices are cheap but so is the quality and the customer service is nonexistent.

Food:

I come to Ikea since the stuff here is cheap and it's convenient since I live in Brooklyn. However, it's not the best Ikea location I've been to. I've been spoiled by the ones in Jersey where there's less people, shorter lines, and better customer service. However, at least you can take a water taxi ferry from Wall Street to get here for free on the weekends.

Always F-ing Lines -- it took me 45 min to pay, it was a Saturday afternoon peek time for them , and there was only 8 out of 28 maybe 30 registers open. Why I don't know !!!!
I guess cause the management is Inadequate, I'm sure corporate knows about the problem and what the cause of it is, But the place is a money maker so why fix something that isn't broken

Ppl need to stop shopping here and send a message We Want Better Employees!!!

And more if u want home delivery

I might as well drive to a different IKEA
Most likely be a short and 10000% better experience

I shopped at brooklyn ikea today. As a returning customer im usually very pleased with service. But today i had a small incident and none of the ikea staff wanted to help me only one guy with the name of james was all here for us!!! Thank u james we'll retyrn just because of u!!!
