Sat at the bar for a quick bite and a couple drinks. I have to say, we had five cheese plates during our stay and this one had the best tasting cheese. The 12-month was especially good and so were the meats. Also in the tasty department were the meatballs and the broccoli rabe w/ sausage. Everything we ate was delicious.

delicious italian food. one thing is better than the next. the service is unbelievable and all of the little treats you receive as soon as you sit down-fresh parmesan cheese, spicy zuchini marinated in oil, hard salami, breads-watch it because you will be fully before your dinner even comes. it's a real dining experience not to be missed!

Eat the mussels fra diavlo...simply amazing. Make sure to have plenty of bread ready to scoop the sauce. Also no need to sit in the fancy side. You can get all of the food in the cafe side as well and it's much cooler.

Intense unidentifiable flavors in everything, one can't taste individual spices or specific ingredients and to me that means a master chef creating complex ecstasy. The food is over the top wonderful. The decor is SOHO and the wait staff is efficient bordering on brusque. There is a formal side and a casual side each with different menus. The waiters wear white clip on bow ties that could use laundering, the noise level is high, but so is the joy

If your looking for an old fashioned Italian feast, complete with antipasta, fresh peccorano romano cheese and homemade lemon chello. The cost was a bit on the high side, but the service and attention made up for it, the lamb from a rack was on the chewy side, the veal was excellent as was the broccolli rabe. Waited a long time for the check.
