The Jersey City bar to hang at with some friends. Comprehensive and stellar beer selection. Very popular and can sometimes get pretty loud and crowded. They have some fantastic bartenders, but there's too much turnover in the staff so you'll get some bad apples. Menu is yummy but a little too expensive - I wasn't a fan of the burgers. Fantastic wings though! The owner's are a great part of the neighborhood!

Great place to unwind and have a much needed drink, along with great food. I highly recommend their long island iced tea it's unique and tastes a little different.

Date spot for your lover, mistress, and wife. Just keep them on seperate floors based on appropriate ambiance or ladies mood.

Do you know how amazing this place is??? Well let me tell you! We celebrated my bf's bday here on Friday with a party of 12. Yeah there were some hiccups with the reservations we made a week in advance with day before and day of confirmations, however they apologized for the inconvenience and offered the first round on them! I must say - this was a really nice touch! They offered a good assortment of ales, however a lot were listed on the menu, but was tapped out. The waitress offered some good substitutions that had similar tastes, if not better than what we originally wanted. The Monkey Nachos - SLAMMING! My guests ordered a variety of things: the wings, hanger steak, balsamic chicken, fish & chips, shrimp pasta in a creamy lobster sauce, and half pound burger. Everyone raved about the food and yes, I tried a little bit of everything and it was AMAZING, though the burger was very simple and bland - nothing really to brag about. The staff was so friendly and helpful and assisted with our personal cake cutting/singing. All in all, we will definitely go back to the Iron Monkey!

It seems like it should be a good place, great selection of beer and a cool rooftop bar. However, the rooftop bartender is unbelievably rude. Shockingly rude. I've been maybe 7-8 times with friends and every time it's the same story - she doesn't answer questions, she doesn't acknowledge your presence or anything you say or ask for, she essentially yells at patrons if they're in the way, she goes out of her way to make you feel unwanted and as if you're imposing on her.

This is absurd. Last night I saw two couples sit there with their mouths open at how rude she was. One man even complained about her to the manager, but it was clear that the manager didn't care and nothing was going to be done. I don't understand how someone in the service industry can hate service so much.
