Islamorada Fish Co, Mesa, Arizona Restaurant Details

Food:

We were looking forward to our once a month meal at our Bass Pro Islamorada restaurant. Tonight's meal was soured however, as our server, Sarah, was less than attentive. Her devotion to the table behind us left us with sub par service. When we had to request that a water glass be refilled. My glass of tea never saw attention. Clearly Sarah was focusing on the table giving her the most reverie for her glib remarks. Once she realized we had done eating our bill was brought forth. After paying our bill we had to wade from behind our table through the remainder of our finished dishes. We won't return.

Food:

Ordered the fried shrimp. Something didn't taste "right" and I brought it to the attention of the server, who didn't seem to care much at all. 2 hours later, I was at the er with food poisoning. Won't go back.

My wife and I really enjoy eating at this restaurant after shopping at Bass Pro Shops. Their seafood is very good! I wouldn't say it was the best I have ever had but for the Phoenix Valley, it is pretty good. How fresh can you get seafood in a city that isn't even close to the sea? That's all I have to say. Better seafood can be found, of course, in San Diego along the beachfront. This restaurant has decent food however.

We ordered Alligator and the batter was so salty! The Islamorada blackened fish and wild rice was tasteless and was covered with sauce. The french fries were very old. Our table was in need of water and the waitress was conversing with the other staff for most of the time we were there.

I had the grouper with lump crab in some type of white sauce, cannot remember the name of the sauce. But anyway. It was delicious. My husband had a burger and he said it was great. We definitely will go here again.
