Don't let the outside fool you...amazing Italian dishes! Went back three times on vacation!

Ate here on a Saturday night, and was very excited that there was live music there. The food was delicious and at an amazing price. The entire staff was very friendly. If I ever find myself back in this area I will be returning without a doubt.

​Island Italian Restaurant has been on the Island, long before most people who live here now. It is a very consistent place to eat Italian/American cuisine. They are a no frills, relaxed establishment that has fair prices and nice portion sizes. They boast large Tyson chicken breasts that are good, but could be a little dry at time. Not a problem because their marinara sauce is very good and tastes wonderful when you add a little more when you need it. It's a great place for those people that don't want to give up that Island feel and eat near by. My only suggestion is that maybe, it's time for a face lift and spruce up. It has very old decor and pretty dark in the back. All in all, if you want American Italian food, I would say you would like this place a lot.

Been here several times the last 3 vacations we have had here on the island. The food is great, the staff is very friendly and the music is good when they have it. Their house Italian dressing is the best. I've had everything from their pizza to the baked ziti and it's all good.
