This place WAS very good, but it's been OUT OF BUSINESS for at least 6 months and a new business is operating at the location. You take much to long to update your data.

My wife & I had lunch there today, 8/13 and the waiter clearly told us that one of the specials was spaghetti with marinara sauce ($5.95) or meat sauce can be added for $1.50. I ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce (should have been $7.45). When we got our bill, my lunch was $9.95. Not a major difference but I did inquire, as it may have been a key stroke error when order was entered. The manager told me that there was no special and would not lower the price. The waiter came over and said that he had told us that there was a special & the manager still would not honor the pricing. Food was OK....but I would NOT go back to a place that gives misleading information upfront and then wont back it up.

I try to go to cafe Italia as many times as i can and support that great Pizzeria
A must try is there Italian Ravioli Anna Maria named after the matriarch of there family with jumbo shrimp, sun dried tomato and fire roasted red bell peppers served over pillows of cheese ravioli finished in a light lemon butter sauce for one of the best pasta entrees on the menu.
I am also taking the time to write this because the people at cafe Italia deserve it.
It's really nice to see this family Pizza & Italian Restaurant put out a excellent product. Great job cafe Italia way to go!!!!

The portions are large and the food is great.
I had dinner at that very nice restaurant over the holidays.
I had a bottle of wine with my wife at dinner on a candle lit table of real Tuscan marble with classical music setting the atmosphere and was served by a very professional waiter in a shirt and tie.
Romantic to the max, she loved it.
Everyone should try this place you will be very happy!!
Try the filet mignon Marsala, and the pizza!!

Great Pizza in Sarasota "We love Cafe Italia" Great family Italian dining is a thing of comfort and beauty, and at Cafe Italia. A Northern necessity that is all-too-often elbowed out in favor of barbecue and soul food south of the Mason-Dixon. If the recent weather has you craving a nice big plate of pasta, or great Italian food, with plenty of Parmesan, you should make the trip out to Café Italia. The dining room has the warm, low-lit atmosphere that you’d expect to find in a Jersey neighborhood hub, and a cast of regulars contributing to the family-dining feel. The menu is all classic Italian dishes from the family’s cookbooks: Pizza, Bolognese, Fettuccini Alfredo, Eggplant, Chicken and Veal Parmiggiana, Homemade Gnocchi, Chicken Marsala, Penne Alla Vodka and the list goes on. But since this is Florida, you can also get the great treatment with a plate of Grilled Grouper or Fresh Salmon.
Tiramisu is made in-house by mama herself, and of course, there’s cannoli too. It’s a perfect place to order a portate (3-6 courses) and prove your appetite’s bona fides. We will be regulars there. Thank you Cafe Italia for providing great food and value to my family.

We found this place on google and had pizza there the other night for takeout. We ordered two pizza. A margarita pizza and a pepperoni pizza. The margarita was perfect with fresh tomato fresh basil and alot of real chopped garlic. That was a nice treat to have real garlic and basil on the pizza. The Pepperoni pizza was for the kids and I swore that I wasn't going to get into that pizza but the aromas of the pepperoni drew me right in. Kudos to me nose because it was amazing!!!!
