The Northwest dining legacy that is Ivar’s began in 1938 with one very entrepreneurial spirit, the late Ivar Haglund. His future in music and entertaining took a slight detour when his waterfront aquarium needed a vendor to feed its guests. Using his own classic Northwest seafood recipes, Ivar’s was born. This dining destination has since spawned many more restaurants to delight future generations. A great place to have a waterfront dinner at a reasonable price. Their specialty is seafood so if you're going here for any other reason other than the view you might want to look somewhere else. Unfortunately Ivars is looking to sell this location so we will probably close soon. If you have a chance to eat at this location do so you will not be disappointed.

I love Ivar's, love it, love it, love it. The best reason to come here is for the happy hour. In the lounge 3pm-Close Daily
$1 OFF: Draft Beers and Well Drinks
$2 OFF: Specialty Cocktails and Wine by-the-Glass
And cheaper food to boot! It's a must.

Soooo good! Best clam chowder around. Not a bad price either since it isn't sit down and obviously feeding the seagulls is a must! I also love that the breading for the fish and chicken isn't too thick! Try it all!

Food is amazing, staff as well. Great time sunset, best wine. Prices are small compared with the food and service you get. Super affordable for family.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Excellent atmosphere, food and service. So good we went back the very next day for round two.
