Jack N Grill, Denver, Colorado Restaurant Details

Food:

Awesome big burrito, very hot and spicy.
Nice environment, great food. Kinda crowded inside but that's to be expected. I would definetly go again and try those burgers.

Food:

Don't go unless you are hungry. Excellent food and huge portions. I hit it while traveling and if I go back to Denver I am going back there for sure. I would like to try breakfast.

Food:

This place has awesome Margaretta's and breakfast burritos. As far as the food. I usually only have margaritas and breakfast burritos, so I'm not commenting on things I don't know.

Food:

One star for the food and one star for the service. It's really disappointing to witness a restaurant take a nose dive after so much publicity. You would think the owners would want to keep their standards high enough for more than one feature on the Food Network - the 7lb burrito shouldn't be the only thing to boast about. Great service in combination with great food keeps an establishment in good standing with the community. My family owned what is still a successful restaurant just right down the road. At least with a close neighbor like Jack-n-Grill they don't have a lot of competition.
The servers looked at my boyfriend and I like we were parasites instead of paying customers. At 3pm on a Sunday the restaurant wasn't exactly bustling with business but it still took the staff over 20 mins to acknowledge us on the patio. 3 servers for a 10-table patio is more than enough and yet we made eye contact with each one of them before one even said hello. We had to go inside to just get glasses for water and upon further inspection inside we noticed there were another 2 servers and one bartender - each on their phones. It gets better. Aside from their sour-faced servers, the kitchen staff had little knowledge of how to prep a simple chicken dish. There were tendons and bones in the enchiladas and I've had fresher salsa at Taco Bell. After getting halfway through our meals we lost our appetites and allowed the server to snatch our plates away. They couldn't get us out of there fast enough. The man who was clearly the manager must have noted the bone we ensured was jutting out of the half-eaten tortilla. Take note JnG. The Littleton location has much better service and food but this location has me wondering what the hell went wrong. We love locals who have made their personal claims to fame but this restaurant is completely undeserving of any further rewards, features or praise. Bummer.

Worse service I've ever recieved, this woman Eleanor pretty much threw our plates at us and never said another word. Then when went to get up and get my napkins and hot sauce she just stared at me and didn't say a word. And when we talked to the manager he blew it off l and didn't even try to make it better. So much for a nice dinner with out the kids.

"Home of the seven-pound burrito", this "colorful" New Mexican trio is equally "legendary" for "fantastic burgers" "the size of Frisbees", which – like most everything on the "right-priced" menu – come smothered in the "freshest green chili ever"; "speedy" servers navigate the "pleasant" digs, which are often "jam-packed" with fans who come back "again and again."
