Awesome dive bar. Good people. Good atmosphere.

Jay's Saloon is the last real dive in this part of Arlington. The service is not great and I've never eaten the food here, but I appreciate this low-key place with a neighborhood feel. Jay's can also be a good place to dance on the weekends.

Food:

Only Bar in Claredon. The pool table is too small, the walls are too dirty, but the beer is cold, the tater tots are just right, and there is service with a smile. There are regulars are the bar, christmas lights around the porch, and not a shuffleboard game, dance floor, or bro in sight.

If you want a real dive bar (dark, grungy, populated by locals) then Jay's is your best bet in the area. I love this place. Its out of place in the trendy, yuppie ridden Arlington area. The patio is right out of a redneck's backyard. The bar/restaurant has that gross feel of decades of grease, cigarettes and beer. There is limited parking. But all of that just makes this place an oasis where you can roll in and grab a beer. If you haven't been yet, go.

Only been here once. But, the one time I've been here was fantastic.
