Jazmine Cafe, New Orleans, Louisiana, Asian Restaurant Details

Went here over the weekend and had an very good bowl of pho and bubble tea! The Pho was good, not insanely good, but super filling and just what I needed. I really freaked out about the bubble tea though since there aren't many places in New Orleans that I know serve it.

Great place! I was craving some pho after work one day and took the streetcar over to jazmine cafe. I had the fried summer rolls and pho tai. The pho noodles were not as flavorful as I was used to, but the soup was just as good as I had hoped. It wasn't the greatest vietnamese food I've ever had, but it was very good nonetheless and I will definitely be eating there again soon.

I know my oriental cuisine, having lived in Vancouver BC for over 30 years, which has the largest oriental communities on the west coast. These guys know how to do it right!

Hey, am a Vietnamese so I know how good the food was there! In fact, it was a bit too "tasteless" compared to other real Vietnamese cuisine somewhere else... nothing special here! We tried 3 dishes on Dec-29/2009, none of them was at an acceptable level as other reviews below said (writers may be in the family, friends some kind or did not know much about VNese cuisine). The Bbq sandwich was too salty, the crepe was also salty ate with very lousy kind of sweet fish-sauce and the beef soup (pho) was so plain or flat with the beef quite tough. Finally, bubble tea was also flat with lousy tapiocas! So.. do not expect anything likes in Bellaire-Houston or San Jose! If you are around the casinos here, you would better try pork-vermicelli at Bamboo in Harrahs. It is even MUCH better than at Jazmine. The cuisine at Jazmine is...just likes what I cooked at home, not at a restaurant level. Anyway, the waitresses there were cute and conversable! If that is what you enjoy.. go there!!!

i went here after the the restaurant i had been planning on going to turned out to be closed. despite my disappointment, i was thrilled with jazmine caf?. very helpful waiter who helped me choose my meal. fast service. the weekly special was a delicious chicken curry and i can't wait to eat my leftovers. a lot of food for a good price. you could split most dishes between two people.
