07/21/2015 1:31 pmFood was less than desirable I love oysters and most places serve them on a large platter with the oysters sitting in ice. These were on a small salad plate with a few ice cubes on top and not cold. Our waitress Brooke ( who was fantastic) asked if we wanted a drink before happy hour ended we said yes I had a rum and coke (well brand) I ordered another and asked for Bacardi it came with well rum but I was charged for the high brand. My wife ordered the Cajun chicken pasta and it looked horrible and she said it was not good only 2 small cubes of chicken in it. I had the pick 3 seafood dinner consisting of a bad crab cake, 3 pieces of fish and 5 shrimp all fried and greasy. We usually go where the locals recommend and it was our fault for going here because the locals Do Not recommend this place. |

06/02/2015 4:05 pmI've been here many many times over five years and have had a great time every time. Breakfast is served until 11:30 am and there is no better Eggs Benedict around. You also have a choice of Seafood Benedict which is excellent as well. I love to go in the afternoon or evening and catch a band. I've heard several good players (I'm an ex-musician myself) and I especially love the band of Chello Holliday with website of same name. They are marvelous musicians. I confess I haven't yet made it to the piano bar because I have so much fun at the outdoor (covered) bar. I'm a trained chef and have never had a bad meal here - in fact, it is my choice of places to go for good food and great value. The servers are conscientious and always willing to go that extra step. Don't miss their endless salad with house ranch dressing that comes with their entrees. I'm partial to the crab cakes. Go and have some fun! |

12/07/2014 7:43 pmThe service is incrediable, music entertaining, and if you are in the mood for a fried food snack, the fried pickles and fried jalapeno rings are excellent. Unfortunately, that is where it ends. All of the food was clearly made from low grade frozen food and the mashed potatoes were of the instant variety. To be fair, we did not try anything from the bar or a dessert. It seemed like the local "greasy spoon" option |
