04/22/2016 7:03 pmSince I,m a West coast uy, was not to sure what to get. Server was awesome and said I needed Crawdads. After a quick lesson (yes there is an art) they where fantastic. |

04/08/2016 6:16 pmThe crawfish is blandly boiled without seasoning and is covered in dry seasoning AFTER its cooked. Huge disappointment. Please go to Hank's or the crawfish shack for crawfish. The only thing is that their oysters are delicious though! |

04/05/2016 4:20 amI was in search of a place to get a taste of home. I warned you if you are use to eating authentic Cajun food from Louisiana this is not the place for you. The famous Jimmy G's grilled oysters was anything but famous. It was very lightly dusted with maybe some season salt ( not even Tony's). And half wasn't even covered with the cheese. I will say they were big, fresh, and plump. No type of sauce for dipping or bread to sop up the oyster liquor. I ordered the pecan crusted trout with Magonila sauce. I ordered this because I saw it on someone else's plate at the next table. However when I got mine it look like the lunch plate ( very small). Fish had no season and so did the sauce. Was supposed to have crawfish and shrimp in sauce, but only contained crawfish. Green beans best part of the meal. No one ever asked if I was enjoying my meal and I only got 1 drink. After I finished my entire meal, they finally asked if I would like another drink. Highly over priced. Just for me $60 for above meal and 1 beer. Boudreaux's is better than this place and a lot cheaper. And I think Boudreaux's is an okay place. Save your money. |

03/09/2016 10:12 pmCrawfish! Crawfish! Crawfish are always on point, especially a few weeks into the season! Pretty much the main thing I eat there. Crawfish is a decent price per pound compared to other restaurants. Everything else on the menu seems overpriced. They charge Pappadeaux rates, but the food is not half as flavorful. Fried foods are not seasoned, which is disappointing. If you like boiled crawfish - it's a good place for the price $6.95 per pound and supposedly there is a happy hour 3-7 when they are $5.95 per pound, but I don't recall ever receiving my discount. Other highlights - homemade tarter sauce and grilled oysters. Yum! |

02/26/2016 10:56 pmThe food was fabulous here. Really seasoned and plentiful. The gumbo was excellent and we are from Louisiana so we know. The boiled shrimp cooked and seasoned to perfection. Seafood platter, oh yeah and we even had lobster that was awesome too. Everything , including service was great. You won't be sorry with the choices here! Bam! |
