This place is the essence of a gastropub. It is nestled in a little dugout type place with no-fuss servers and a great selection of beer. We have been here at least 6 times since we first found out it was around the corner and I feel compelled to write a review inviting New Yorkers to make this their "go-to" pub!

Good beers, good atmosphere, great hideaway if you are looking to sit for spell and chat it up with friends.

Amazing beer list in a cozy setting. The lack of loud music and the many seats make it a great place to sit down and a talk over a beer. Great place to try various craft beers, both local and international.

Shout out to the bartender Bridgette! Not sure if I spelled it right. She was attentive to the folks at the bar while a beer tasting event was occurring. Thanks to her, I'd be happy to go back there with my fiance. If you like a small hole in the wall place that is opposite from the frills of NYC bars, this is a place to go to.

I really liked the vibe in this place, you can see all the cultural spectrum of the villages here. Moreover they have a great selection of beers and ciders. The normandie is one of my favorites. They also offered food for a reasonable price. it is a cool place to gather in a table with friends or just stay at the busy bar, but it is also great for a date.
