Great food and great service!! I was annoyed at first because my waiter was juggling like six tables at once, but I never noticed! We had eight with us (5 kids 2 adults)/and everyone there was so nice and accommodating. Highly recommend! First time in San Antonio!

I ordered the Catfish/Fried Shrimp Dinner and it was surprisingly good. The Catfish was flakey and the batter was great on it. Came in expecting mud cat, so I was pleasantly surprised, lol. Everything else was good too, was even happily surprised about the Cole Slaw, which had a nice flavor, similar to Long John Silvers, and most could probably agree with me that they have good Cole Slaw at Long John's.

I used to love Jim's, I am a regular patron. But over the last 6 Mo. or so the service and quality have declined dramatically. Lately we get seated and the tables are still dirty, they look like they are quickly wiped down once. We usually order Tortilla soup and it is served warm. Once the chicken did not looked cooked. I enjoy black or green tea and now they seem to never have it. The service is lacking and needs to be improved. I would recommend you find another place until this location improves both quality and service.
