I ate lunch at Joe Bobs today and the service was great and the food was excellent. The server was helpful and courteous.

I have ordered from this place twice and both experiences were horrible. My first experience involved me ordering To Go Spicy Chicken Tacos. The chicken was dry and I found myself dousing the tacos in salsa to find them edible. For my 2nd experience I dined in and ordered their Big Bad Boss burger. It was disgusting and nothing was special about the burger. My last and final experience at Joe Bob's was just calling in and asking about their drink and food specials of the day. The bartender Annie, insisted that I come to and read their specials board instead of just telling them to me over the phone. That seemed ludicrous to me! Why would a customer have to drive down to the restaurant to find out lunch specials? I spoke to a horrible woman named Annie, who asked me, "are you serious?" when I inquired about what was in their Tuesday special Chicken Noodle Soup. I couldn't believe the level of attitude she gave me at 2 in the afternoon! I talked to the owner John immediately following my last encounter and he just said he was sorry for my experience and hoped I would come back. Yeah Right! Is what I say to that.

raised to say thank you, please, you're welcome, etc. When employees can't be bothered to say thank you, it bugs me. Even worse is this: the waitress brings me my change, and I say "thank you." to which she grunts, "uh huh." How about thanking the customer for coming in at some point - or maybe for the tip I'm about to give you, you uncultured animal! Well. It's your loss, I left just less than 15% instead of my normal big tip. The food is about as good as you'd expect in any such place, but the wait staff has always been sub-par! NEW TRIP: Trying again. I was left with my credit card sitting on my check for 10 minutes, at which point I left $15 and walked out. I was literally the ONLY customer! Her loss. Her tip went from $3 to $1. I know they don't care, but lunch shouldn't take over an hour. Making me late to work upsets me. That was there last chance.
