08/19/2014 5:55 pmThe seafood was excellent, very fresh and tasty. The $55 platter was small for the price and didn't include everything on the menu (shrimp and crab I think) which were only included in the more expensive platters but we weren't told that. The atmosphere was fantastic and is a great place for a date night. |

03/05/2014 1:30 pmThe John Dory is a casual, yet hip seafood bar. The decor is lively and bright. I arrived late in the evening and sat at the bar with my friend. The menu is limited, but most things are quite good. The raw bar is what they specialize in, and everything was fresh. The sticky toffee pudding is not to be missed! |

12/01/2013 11:20 pmI love seafood including oysters. So I really loved this place. I had a great time there with my husband and our friends and coworkers. We've ordered different types of oysters, different sauces (spicy and not) and drinks. And it was enough for us. Oysters are amazing, especially with spicy sauce on them. And they are opened and put on plate right infront of you, so you can see the whole process. They also have nice selection of beer, and the waitress helped me to choose a cocktail (which I loved and was thankful for the help). |

11/23/2013 5:04 pmPretty good bar. One problem - I don't like oysters. I was there with friends so had no choice. Drinks were decent. Beer selection is pretty small. But I guess it's fine for an oyster bar. Decor is neat and waiters were nice. Again I'm not the best person to talk but if you like oysters they have a pretty big selection there. |
