Johnny Delmonico's, Madison, Wisconsin Restaurant Details

The first time we went to Johnny Delmonico's was disappointing, but I was really impressed that the manager read my review and followed up with an e-mail. He sent me a $100 gift certificate, so I could give the restaurant another try. My son and I went there for dinner tonight. We both ordered the beef tenderloin rare. I ordered mine Oscar style. Both steaks were very delicious and tender. My Steak Oscar looked beautiful. There was a generous portion of crab meat as well as a generous drizzle of bernaise sauce. Our service was great. I'm really glad that we tried the restaurant again, and I want to thank the manager for his follow through.

We ate here last year on valentine's day and had a spectacular meal, we were able to order from the menu and had french onion soup _it was to die for NY strip steak. However as good as it was last year it was equally as bad this year, the steak was tough and had a awful taste we were not able to have the soup and the service was slow and insufficient

My friend KZ suggested that I try Delmonico's for a romantic night out. The food was amazing. Cynthia, our server, went above and beyond to make the experience truly extraordinary. We're going again soon.

This place was fantastic. Cool retro supper club vibe. Great service, even better food. I had a rare dry aged New York strip that was out of this world. Cooked perfectly. Salt and pepper was plenty of seasoning with the natural flavor of the aged beef. My wife had lobster, which was great too. Crab cakes are a wonderful appetizer. Nice night out.

Although it was pricey for only two people the food and service is something you will never ever forget. It was fantastic.
