Josie's Authentic Mexican Food, Lubbock, Texas, Mexican Restaurant Details

Josie's, Josie's, Josie's....where do I begin with this place. Before I left the area in 2005 Josie's was one of the best places to eat Mexican food. I had ate there a few times before and it was good. Flash forward to my visit back in November. The waitress took our order from her podium, she didn't even come to our table. The place was dirty as hell, we looked up at the ceiling and there was just a layer of dust and probably grease. I wanted to leave then and should have. We get our food and it is just disgusting. My girlfriend looked at me and asked "If I opened a restaurant do you think people would eat my food?" and even though that's what she asked I knew what she was saying, I replied "YES, yes baby they would!" We finally decided we had had enough ( a few bites) and we left. The waitress thought we were pissed about the service, we were, but not so much as we were about the food.

DONT GO THERE!! I ORDERED A BIG MOMA WITH QUESO AND THEY CHARGED ME $14!!!!! IVE NEVER PAID $14 FOR A BURRITO..THATS RIDICULOUS! AND I LOVE THE FACT SHE DIDNT TELL ME IT COST FIVE DOLLARS FOR A COUPLE OF TEASPOONS OF MELTED CHEESE!!! AND NOT TO MENTION I ONLY ATE HALF OF IT BECUASE IT WAS NOT EVEN GOOD AND THAT MEANS ALOT WHEN I DONT LIKE FOOD AFTER IVE BEEN AT THE BAR! THEY RIP PPL OFF ALL THE TIME...$14 I CANT EVEN GET OVER THAT. LONE WOLF FOR NOW ON! IM SOO MAD ABOUT HOW MUCH THAT COST I ALMOST WANT TO START A HUGE FACEBOOK BOYCOTT PAGE FOR THEM, IN FACT I WILL!!!! FEEL FREE TO JOIN BECAUSE I KNOW THERES MORE DISPLEASED PPL THEN ONES THAT ARE TOO DRUNK TO RELIZE HOW GROSS THE FOOD IS AND DONT REMEMBER PAYING THEIR MONTHS RENT FOR SOME BURRITOS!!!!!!

WE EAT HERE EVERY FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT/EARLY MORNING AFTER HITTING UP THE CLUBS... THEY ARE ALWAYS JUST AMAZING!!! FOOD IS AWESOME!!! SERVICE IS AWESOME!!! ATMOSPHERE IS AWESOME!!! DOESN'T GET MUCH BETTER THAN JOSIE'S!!!
