Consistently delicious food. This is a small restaurant easily missed by the casual passerby. The menu is limited, but everything on it is made fresh. Kabobs are grilled fresh while you wait. The bread is baked fresh throughout the day. Kabob Palace is a mandatory stop whenever I am in the Washington DC area.

A little pricey but the portions are good and they cook over charcoal. Delicious and open 24hrs

I was recommended by my friends to visit this place. We live in maryland and I took my family all the way to try out the food. Such a DISAPPOINTMENT!! My sister was upset at the server for not being able to provide her with anything to clean the high chair for her 14months old daughter. The servers were rude. We ate their buffet around lunch time and the food didn't taste fresh nor was kept warm properly. We will not waste our money and will never go eat there again.

Extremely poor service. Staff are very rude as well. The restaurant itself is not well-maintained and is very dirty and filthy. They charge exorbitant prices for food that is mediocre at best. Only someone unfamiliar with Pakistani food would eat here.

Update: I recently found out that there are two restaurants called Kabob Palace at this location. I recently went to the other one, which offers 24-7 service. While the service was alright (the cashier was pretty nice to us), the food was absolutely awful, even worse than the other Kabob Palace. We ordered a combo chicken and lamb kabob, and the food was ready in less than five minutes. Quality food, especially kabobs, take time to prepare. Anything served that quickly must have something wrong with it. And it did. As soon as I approached the table, the lamb emitted a terrible stench. Upon eating, it tasted even worse than it smelled. The chicken had yet to go bad, but it was still very dry and bland for Pakistani/Afghani food. The chickpeas and chutney were also poorly prepared. The portions were very small as well for the outrageous prices we had to pay. Overall, this restaurant is extremely overrated. They charge ridiculously expensive prices for a very small amount of food, which they don't even take the time to prepare properly with proper ingredients. Honestly, it's even worse than the Kabob Palace next door. Although their service is terrible and the food is mediocre, at least they take the time to cook the food and give a decent quantity for what you pay. But of you want quality Indian/Pakistani/Afghani food, don't bother going to either of these locations.

I have to be honest and state that the food itself is really good. However, their customer service is horrific. My first order was amazing, on time and correct. This is clearly to win your trust because all subsequent orders have been wrong, not on time, poorly contained or all of the above. As much as I have enjoyed their food, the lack of attention to details and instructions to my orders leave much to be desired. Unfortunately, the deliciousness is not enough to keep me around.
