Kabuki Japanese Steak House, Montgomery, Alabama Restaurant Details

Food:

Chef didn't cook my chicken and shrimp all of the way. Went to tell them and they got attitudes and cooked it the exact same way. It was terrible. Only hibachi restaurant I've complained about.

The owner is very rude!!!! Not a customer service friendly restaurant. We had a group of 25 people.

Having eaten at several of these hibachi styled Japanese restaurants, I found this one to be little different from the rest. Nothing at all to write home about. The food was good and the seafood fresh, but the portions were much smaller than expected.

I wasn't let down enough to say I can't recommend Kabuki, I've just had better. Oxford, AL's Yume is much, much better than this.

Total scam. We went there and they added $12.95 to our bill for a tip for the cook per couple. No where on the menu was that specified. I have no problem with tipping however I do not like to be forced into it. With that said the food was mediocre at best and service was lack. So if you go to eat there be prepared for a extra hidden fee for crappy food.

Dinner was great. Just wish that the night was a little more lively, i go there to eat and be entertained. The chef was great. I miss yhe last Japanese steakhouse we used to go to, they squirted saki.
