Food:

This place is awesome. Coming from Ethiopian, it is rare to find authentic food, but Kafa tastes just like home-cooking. The beautiful decor, great service and overall ambience make for a great place to eat. I definitely recommend!

Food:

I live in Midtown and am a regular at KAFA. The food is very flavorful and delicious! The Lega Tibs are a great dish. Many of the dishes are a little spicy, but they will tone down the spice if you need. The staff is warm and friendly and the ambiance is soothing, calm & peaceful. It's a great place to go if you want a break from the typical Italian, American, Asian cuisine. Kafa is just as delicious with an ethnic twist...GREAT FLAVOR! And all at an affordable price - two people can eat (perhaps with some food left over) for $40.

Food:

We live in Midtown, and having this great little place nearby is...well...great. Yes, it's on the proverbial 'wrong side of the tracks", but just barely. The people are really friendly, and the food has been consistently good all three times (once dining in, and twice for takeout.) If you live in the area, give it a try when they do Ethiopian dinner (Wed-Sun). Hope you like it as much as we do.
