Ken Stewart's Grille, Akron, Ohio Restaurant Details

Took my wonderful girlfriend here the other night. The parking is weird as you have to cross a busy street to enter the place. Our waitress did a great job. But the food was bland and nothing special for the price. The hostess was busy on her cell phone while several drunk patrons nearby became more and more irratating. There just seems to be something clicky and pretentious about this place that ruined the night for us. I always check reviews before eating somewhere new. If you check the reviews for KSG you will find about 8 reviews with five star ratings but no description all from "a google user". That's a red flag in my book, that I shouldn't have ignored. Best of luck to those that do.

Zero for zero...Just another waste of time and money. The menu is uninspired and way over priced. The environment is dank and boring. My word to you if you want Irish go to Rockne's , if you want stake go to the diamond or Hyde Park, if you want a cock tail go to Larry's right next door.
I took a client inside at eight thirty on a Tuesday night, we were seated and very promptly told the kitchen was closing. Almost with distain ,The waitstaff took our drink order... My client "Marcus" began to get agitated.
When the manger came up and said we were not properly attired I realized that they no longer wanted my business because Marcuse is black. I will never spend another cent in"ken stewarts" grill , loge , or anything that blatant racist creates. If my sergeant is not welcome, then Ken and his whole staff can kiss my ass hole.
p.s. Just go some where else , if you love our solders , and america. don't eat at this gas station .

I had a wonderful experience here. However the atmosphere is a little claustrophobic, I would have liked more privacy but the food more than made up for it. My only complaint is that they put the specials on a separate small menu or piece of paper to bring to the table. Listening to the 15+ specials for 10 minutes is very awkward, and would save a load of time to just type them out.

I got a special that was a trio of Filet Mignons, I ordered them medium well and one of them came out basically rare. As soon as I cut into it, a manager came over to check on us. I normally will just eat whatever they give me, I never send food back so I said it was just fine. She came back shortly after and said she checked my ticket and I did say medium rare and asked if she could place it back on the grill for me. I was pleasantly surprised she took the initiative to correct my order even though I was just going to let it go, but I'm glad she did as I really didn't like rare bloody steak :)

It is a bit pricey, expect near $30 per entree, and I also recommend making a reservation, we got right in. Both our entrees were delicious, as were the soups, house salad, and complimentary Amuse-bouche. I highly recommend Ken Stewart's Grill, and I will be returning!
