My husband and I were looking for a shrimp buffet and this restaurant popped up in places. When we arrived there was no one in the front desk. At first impression the restaurant seemed like two banquet rooms. My husband was iffy, because we didn't see anyone eating here. But we decided to stay and was guided to a separate room where we were seated next to a water view. We ordered the "pre planned meal" with the 16 oz steak. Delicious!!!! We also had desert and that was delish ( creme brulee). Will Definitely be back.

Pulled up to the dock in Los Alamitos bay to grab a late lunch after a day of sailing, it was a Tuesday and the restaurant was almost empty; there were a few people at the bar. We walked in (party of 4) and no greeted us and we weren't sure if they where open or not. Kini said that it looked like it was decorated for a private party (like a wedding reception) so we started to leave, this is when our waiter approached us. He said they were open and sat us next to a large window. I liked this because I could keep an eye on our boat at the dock and our out of town guests liked it because of the view of the water and passing boats, etcetera.

The food took longer to get to us than expected but was well worth the wait. Kini and I had fish tacos, they came with french fries and cole slaw. The fish tacos were a good choice, and the cole slaw was absolutely delicious; it had golden raisins and pineapple bits and the sauce was perfect. I never thought I'd rant over cole slaw but here it is...rant, rant, rant...delicious cole slaw.

Our waiter (Xavier) was very attentive to our needs, pleasent, and patient. He also had a good sence of humor and when it came time to pay the bill, he made the right choice in giving it to me (our out of town guests tried to pay). He made a good impression.

We will be going back to Khoury's Restaurant.

Went for Sunday brunch with a Amazon Local 2 for 1 coupon. Horrible. The place looks like a 60 year old restaurant like it is and it had a $10 remodel done recently. Fresh paint, over everything, carpet falling apart, smelled like an old peoples home, etc. Chairs were wedding reception hand me downs, windows had a glaze making it annoying to look out. Place needs to be knocked down and rebuilt.
Now for the food, Denny's is better. The bacon looked like a 10 pound slab was cooked together, could not separate the pieces with out breaking it into bacon bits. The leg of lamb had a fowl taste, smoked salmon was so-so.
This place is really struggling to stay open, definitely not worth the $30 for brunch. I could go on but it is not worth it.

I've been to this restaurant 3 times within June 2008. They have buffet every Saturday. Their buffet is small and not that many selections. The reason that I eat there is because of the fresh lobster.

Two days ago (Saturday evening) my friends and I went there. Our group were 8 people. At the end of the day, the 15% tip were charged on our final bill!!! Which they don't even mention in the bill or any sign at the front desk. My friend went up and talked to them. The cashier guy said that they charge tip after 6pm!!! Which is BS!!! My, friend asked to speak to the manager, the manager came out and took off the 15% tip. What a liar!!! I never heard of charging tip after 6pm before!!!

In my opinion, they don't reserve a 15% tip due to their services and very slow at the lobster section!!! On everage of waiting to get one (1) lobster, you have to wait 10 to 15 minutes in line. And when it's busy, it takes 20 minutes and up for you to get one lobster. It's very bad when it's busy.

I think I have enough lobsters for this month!!! I will come again in two or more months once my cholesterol is down. =)

They have a nice view of the harbor if you sit outside during sunset. Overall, because of the service, they don't deserve a high rating.

Well, everyone has his/her own opinion. If you like lobster and never been there, go try it out. Make a reservation 1 day ahead.
