01/26/2012 3:55 pmWe had gone to "Kingdom" for years and really loved their jumbo "shrimp" with walnuts. We had a good rapport with the staff. Then a new owner/chef had taken over and botched our take out order not once but twice. We told them about it over the phone but did not follow up. The second time we called and the waiter promised satisfaction when we came in next time (we were not close by). 'when we did return, the waiter acknowledged the phone call and the mistake but the owner refused to make us whole saying that our particular dish was too expensive (huh?) to re-do and was extremely rude. Too bad! Good thing there are a lot of really good vegan restaurants in the same vicinity. |

06/11/2011 2:12 amThe place was virtually empty (1 couple) but we had to wait 45 minutes for our food. The waiter later told us there was "a problem with the chef" which turned out to be an absence of a chef. |

07/07/2008 12:10 amI've been going here for close to 9 years. I use to work around the corner. Out of the 100+ times i've been, maybe only once was i disappointed. I have taken many non-vegetarian friends there, all of whom have loved it. Its the type of chinese food that WON'T make you feel sick and heavy after eating a whole plate. I have not found a better vegetarian restaurant anywhere else. Get the sweat and sour chicken, its the best. |

12/02/2007 1:38 amI think I just didn't order the right thing. The General Tsaos was a heavily breaded fried concoction. It wasn't too good - I must admit though that as a vegetarian your taste buds tend to expect things to be less than stellar. |
