The restaurant on Barbur is the best! The food is always fresh and delicious. They also have specials that are fabulous like the Butter Fish and various asparagus dishes that are incredible (when in season). We go here for a healthy delicious meal and are never disappointed!

I am very fortunate that this restaurant is so close to me - I go there a lot. Katsu is a great host, and Hashimoto is simply the best sushi chef around. The sushi is the freshest in town, but they have great cooked dinners if sushi is not your thing. They also have a great sake selection. This is in my top five places to eat in Portland.

Good fresh sushi with some interesting roll options along with the old favorites like dragon rolls. They have a good selection of sake as well. The prices are what I'd expect for a sushi joint like this -- not cheap but not too expensive either. The atmosphere is sometimes lacking when there are children present. Normally I'd consider sushi a "safe place" to avoid children, but not so here.
