02/04/2015 4:39 pmGreat shop to browse, knit, or eat (or all 3!). The people working were very knowledgeable about the yarns and what made each brand unique. Very friendly. They even told me to come back later as they were going to light a fire. Very cosy place. Obviously not the largest selection being a small shop, but it more than makes up for it in the quality of yarns they sell. Some well knowns like madelinetosh and hand dyed yarns from independent artists (including a few NY-based). |

12/07/2013 2:39 pmI really love the idea of La Casita: a super cute, cozy little neighborhood yarn store meets bar meets friend's living room. The staff is quite friendly, and they really do have a tiny bar that serves alcohol in the back. But it's hard to enjoy this space. It's so cramped that if you are looking at yarn, you are literally in someone else's way. It makes for a frustrating shopping experience. |

10/04/2013 3:33 pmBeautiful little yarn shop, where you can settle down and knit/crochet. They have bottled drink (and even wine!). They don't serve your table like other cafe, so you have to ask for it. I spent almost 3 hours knitting, and saw that place is loved by local knitters. |

09/21/2013 2:46 pmI come here at least once a week - a wonderful cozy atmosphere, beautiful yarns and stitchmarkers, and some of the best hot chocolate and mulled wine I've ever had! The staff is friendly and helpful, and the music/atmosphere makes this my favorite yarn shop! |
