La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant, Ocean City, Maryland Restaurant Details

The food was very good and the service was excellent. My wife an i find it hard to believe the negative reviews. It's as if we ate at entirely different restaurants. We have eaten there at least three times and were always very pleased.

Most awful Mexican food ever, and yes even taco bell does a better job. Canned tomatoes on a plate and "velveeta" like cheese? Omg who serves that? I would like to warn you all to steer clear of this place. Not only is it awful, it's expensive.. Nothing redeeming about it whatsoever, and the food will make you sick! This place shouldn't even be in business!

How can La Hacienda charge twenty dollars for a burrito made of canned ingredients and Velveeta? Truly terrible food- even Taco Bell uses real cheese.

This restaurant has some of the worst Mexican food I've ever eaten. The margaritas taste like frozen water ice with tequila mixed in, and for 8$ you could have at least added some real lime juice. This is compensated for by the chicken burrito with celery added into the filling ,covered with a "special" cheese sauce consisting of canned processed cheese. My order was a beef burrito which could have easily been purchased in a 711 frozen for 4.99 ;even the salsa served was basically a soup. I've been to Mexico a few times and never seen anything like that. Do yourself a favor and don't eat at this place. Check out the positive reviews they seem to be pasted right off of the la hacienda website...geee what a coincidence

Good place, good food. The atmosphere is a little nicer than Tequila Mockingbird. I prefer the salsa at Tequila better as it is not the tomato-saucy style that La Hacienda has, which many people really like. However Hacienda offers unlimited free refills, which is nice and expected at a Mexican restaurant. The food is good, the service is good. Not the best Mexican food I have had, but still good and a nice change in OC where there are not a lot of Mexican restaurants. Will definitely go back!
