07/08/2015 10:23 pmAbsolutely LOVE this place. I have been going here for 30 years and the food is amazing. If you want a modern restaurant-don't go here. Everything is decorated with 60s or 70s in mind. BUT the food is amazing. Occasionally bones are found in the chicken pies but considering we have had this about 40 times year for the last 30 years and I hVe had 2 bones which usually happens in chicken pies. The waitresses are older but it's the whole idea. Don't be rude by raising your hand for service, thats just untasteful. This isn't a place for unclassy. |

06/25/2015 1:24 pmI don't normally write reviews, but I decided to eat here based on the google reviews to inform fellow googlers. We took a large group, 3 families including young children. We are from out of state and were looking for a good place to eat. Service receives an "F". Food is a "D". Price is an "A". All the staff and servers were older and had a difficult time keeping our orders straight or even answering questions about menu items. We had a disabled person in our group and they got the order wrong for him, he raised his hand to get the attention of the server, and she gave him a dirty look, then ignored him. We finally went to the front counter and the bakery person helped us. There was one of the children in our group who's order never showed up. There were 2 people with the chicken pot pie that found bones in their food. The place was old, run down, worn out furniture. I'm not usually one to nit pick, but I would hate others to experience what we did without being warned first. |

11/26/2014 1:49 amThis is one of our favorite places to eat! The food is super yummy and the ladies that serve there are great! We moved away over 6 years ago, and when we pop back in we're still recognized. The chicken pot pies are the best... and you can get them with all white meat if you'd like. Their chicken noodle soup is the best as well! If I remember correctly dinners come with soup, salad, rolls (not the best), chicken pot pie, potatoes (baked, mashed, or fries), and dessert (I usually get ice cream and my husband usually gets cake). Hoping we can get there this trip! |
