La Parrilla, Modesto, California Restaurant Details

I do like the friendly service. its the best service My wife and I have ever seen. The place is nice, Clean and has a good atmostphere. In other words. kinda like sitting in your favorite chair at the dinner table. I have seen many posting about there prices, but there average for a small business. I gave it 4 out of 5 because of one major thing. No flavor. I have eaten food from Calif to New Orleans and Mexican food has always been my top 5, mainly because of the flavor and punch it gives to my taste buds. But this place only gave me a small taste of salt. I really feel bad for posting this because the service was so Awesome. But if they give flavor a chance. im sure i'll be posting 5s all day.

Pretty good, the best service I've ever had, and it is very clean! but not the best Mexican food. But it is good! I would go there again!

Im surprised with the wonderful reviews from others. Ceviche tostadas looked old, no flavor and served with dry lemons. Queso fundido with old chorizo, and everything tasted oily and lacking major seasoning. Highly disappointed.

La Parrilla is definitely my favorite Mexican Restaurant in the area. Absolutely love the beans served with the chips and salsa. I gave it 4 stars because there isn't one specific dish that I just crave all the time, but everything I've tried there is very good. Some stand outs for me are the California Burrito, and the pork Chimichanga. Atmosphere is excellent at the Riverbank location, and the service has always been good. If you're going to pick a Mexican restaurant in the greater Modesto area, pick La Parrilla, it won't disappoint.
