Here's the deal: no matter how good your food is, you can't have people wait for 45 minutes and not be given even the chance to order. I stopped by on the way to the airport with my sister, hoping to get her nice meal before a long flight. We wasted an hr waiting there for nothing. I was stuck with a groupon, so I sent my husband back during his lunch break (hoping that the lack of service from our first experience was just a fluke). He ended up burning his lunch hour for nothing. No food. He said the poor lady working there was obviously new, and he felt bad for her as there were folks angrily yelling at her as they left. It seems the owner is not putting in what's needed for a successful business in the customer service/restaurant area (more staff during lunch perhaps?) I really want to see a great crepe place open up in Anchorage where you can actually get crepes!

The decor has a lot going on. About 9 different styles all coming together in one, but none really complete. Atmosphere was quiet for a while; but when more customers came in the girls behind the counter got busy, loud and looked panicked. They were out of ingredients for my creeps so they offered me to substitute different things. The place was pretty dirty and one of our creeps was much overcooked. It was good tasting because of the nutella, but not a place I would come back anytime soon. Also, very dirty in certain places. Attention to detail is not found here. But has this place has potential

Overall disappointed in the food, cleanliness, and service. One of our crepes was overcooked the other was undercooked and they were out of many ingredients. The girl who made the crepes didn't wash her hands and after overcooking my crepe she blew on it to remove crumbs (yuck). She was wearing a visibly soiled apron and you could see half of her butt. The entire time the girls behind the counter had negative attitudes and were talking loud enough for the customers to hear. Not impressed!

40 minutes for one crêpe? I won't be going back. My husband and I decided to try this relatively new restaurant the other day. There was a table of five already waiting for food and a couple in front of us ordering. We ordered an ice coffee and a single crêpe with no filling. Our coffee came out 20 minutes later and our crêpe 20 minutes after that. With only two employees and one crêpe being made a a time, it's a wonder this place manages to stay afloat. The owner herself had to explain to a disgruntled customer that each order takes 5-7 minutes to prepare. At least the crêpe was tasty, but at $5.50 for a pancake with butter it wasnt worth the wait. What a failure.

It's taken almost 30 years for a Anchorage restaurant to beat my worst experience from the early 1980's.

La Petite Creperie is the winner of that dubious honor.

I think it's odd that a restaurant that serves a breakfast type item doesn't open until noon on Sunday, but since my wife wanted to go after good mid workday experience in June with her mother, we waited for breakfast and got there around 12:30.The place was full and there was a good 8 to 10 people waiting for a table ahead of us.They had no system in place to get a table other than pouncing when one opened up. Not Good. We used the honor system and it took us about 30 mins to get a seat
.
After choosing to wait I went up and ordered a cup of coffee while I waited. It turned out that all drink orders are handled "in order" and it took 20 mins to get a cup of drip coffee. 20 mins for drip coffee?

I've never seen a place of this type not have a airpot of brewed coffee on hand for a quick fill up. The coffee brewer was turned off and empty. They didn't even brew it until they got to my ticket in the drink queue.

Even an American "greasy spoon cafe" keeps the coffee on.

The half & half was just sitting on the counter at room temperature in the factory container. Big no-no to the Health dept.

They have no clear system in place to deliver food or drinks as there is no wait staff for tables,.Orders are placed at the counter but since folks were ordering before having a table, once seated, the harried staff had no clue what Crepe or drinks went where. even if you grabbed a table and pointed it out to the staff when you placed your order was still no guarantee that you would get your order.

I'm pretty sure the 4th staff member was very late to work as the young man who ended up bussing tables and operating the dish machine didn't show up until almost 1 o'clock . By then, the self serve water had been empty and cup-less since we arrived, they was no flat ware to eat with, and the trashes were overflowing behind the counter and people were sitting at dirty tables overflowing with plates and cups left by the prior guests.

When the trash was taken out, they took it out in clear trash bags right though the tiny dinning room and not the back door. Not a sight that many dinners want to enjoy while eating... if you gotten your food by then, we hadn't yet.

Remember where I said pointing out your table didn't guarantee that you would get your order? We had a family member with us who ordered on her own ticket and her food was delivered to a woman who'd just walked in and sat down at the table beside us. At this point we'd been there 90 mins. She just arrived.

After they young lady touched the Crepe with her fingers to see if it had what she just ordered inside, the delivery person whisked it away and delivered it my Aunt after we said that it couldn't be hers as she just got there..
.
My Aunt hadn't seen the manhandling of her food and the delivery person didn't seem to care. The delivery person then walked away and my Aunt stared at her food as they'd not brought any flatware out with the order.

My wife's food arrived next with flat ware and she began to eat, while her Aunt waited. We had to grab one of the employees to get her a table service.

I didn't get to eat as they were out of what I wanted... after waiting 30 mins to order they had forgotten to mark what was sold out.

One of the women working there had a young girl playing in the cafe (she might be the owner??) and her pretty little daughter came over to our table and spit in my wife's food on a whim.

That's right, after waiting almost 2 hours, my wife's meal was spat upon by a staff member's child.

No apology was offered by the mother but one of the staff offered to remake my wife's crepe which my wife requested "to go" When we got home and opened the box the crepe was floating in a few ozs of oil.

It was uneatable.
