La Pizza Mia Pizzeria, Largo, Florida Restaurant Details

Food:

This was the 3rd time we were here. The first time, the pizza was wonderful. Last time the crust was burned (also the air conditioning was broken). We figured it was a quirk. Today the crust was burned again. The smoke from the burnt pizza was so bad, that I had to use an asthma rescue inhaler. After two burnt pizzas, I don't think we'll be coming back.

I rarely take the time to leave reviews.I have a busy schedule and there is a lot of mediocrity out there!

This place is great.I moved to Clearwater from out of state. After several attempts to find good Italian food,I found a winner.

As some one who has traveled & lived in Europe and knows what authentic Italian taste like.

This is the closest you get to Bella Italia!

Great service, food is out quick, and it tastes amazing!

I have mixed reviews on this restaurant. I was there two weeks ago on a Friday. The waitress sat us introduced herself as Katrina and tended our every need. We ordered pizza which was great. half meat half veggie (im a vegetarian). Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and made or experience very enjoyable! So much so we went back the next Friday. This is where my review mixes. We walk in the door the same waitress greets us with a huge smile and yells hey welcome back. I thought (and said) wow what great service! She sits us then says she is glad to see us back but the she was on her way home and her sister would take great care of us. This is where everything went downhill. Our new waitress, who did not introduce herself, was the total opposite of our first. She took forever to take our order. Then when it came out it was wrong! My cheese calzone was full of ham and salami (remember me saying I am a vegetarian). The lady never came back to check on us. When she did she come back she smelt like a brewery! I am unsure if we will go back, I guess it would depend on who was waitressing.

Great indoor atmosphere and friendly service. Specials are cheap and delicious. The Calzones are amazing! Highly recommend. New favorite spot.

I'm only sorry that I haven't been here sooner. The food was very genuine and homemade and the atmosphere is very appealing. The waitress was very personable and friendly also. Will definitely be going back soon, I enjoyed their pasta dish better than Olive Garden's and it's not as pricey which is an added bonus and the place is closer to home too another bonus. Where has this place been hiding!
