La Reyna Mexican Restaurant, Las Vegas, Nevada Restaurant Details

Food:

La Reyna is quite a drive away from my home but is very much worth the visit anytime I'm in the area. The atmosphere is great, there's always a good Spanish classic playing and the huge collection of old time photos are awesome and all of great people or actors from Mexico. Reyna and the other girls there will take good care of you. They are quick, attentive and very friendly, there's always a smile on their faces.

The food there, this is why you're going after all, comes in a wide selection and in nice big proportions. You will more than likely want a to-go box halfway through. And of course, every plate I've tried there so far is delicious.

I have to say that I find myself to be very picky about Mexican restaurants, and I have my mother and family to blame for that. Having grown up with a mom who was a phenomenal cook on the daily, amazing family feasts at reunions on occasions and sister's who learned from all of that spoiling me still... how can I not be? So I don't like most Mexican restaurants for that reason, but La Reyna and just a few other Mexican spots here in Vegas will do, if I HAVE to pay for my Mexican fix.
