02/16/2016 12:02 amMy husband and I celebrated Valentines Day here. There was a fixed menu, which we understand. However the fixed menu was a deviation from their standard menu. Very limited pasta choices. The choices were not very appealing. Example chicken parm topped with cold crab meat or beet gnocchi. Our meals were luke warm at best. We have been to this restaurant in the past and loved the menu choices. In addition the waiter brought us our check before bringing the 2nd glass of wine we requested or offering a dessert menu. Overall not a great experience. |

08/21/2015 3:11 pmThe food is priced like cafe fare, but innovative in taste combinations and very near fine dining in experience. Allergy list for all menu items considering range of reactions. Wait staff attentive and considerate. Exceptional but understated. I'll be back next time I'm in Prague. |

12/08/2013 2:01 amThis is one of my favorite restaurants in Philly. The food is always delicious. The service is perfect! From the minute you walk in the door, everyone in the restaurant is very pleasant and eager to serve. My favorite dishes are the pasta primavera and the spinach ravioli. My husband likes the salmon. Great place to get some really good Italian food! |

11/10/2013 11:49 pmThis was my first visit to La Veranda, although I have passed by the establishment often. To start off with I decided to valet park; the attendant was quick and friendly and most accommodating. From the moment we entered the front doors we were greeted and made to feel at home from the . maître d to the waiter it was top notch service all the way. To begin with my wife ordered the cream of Asparagus soup and I ordered the crab-meat stuffed mushrooms and both were very tasty. For the entree I ordered the T-Bone steak which they cut fresh to order and served with green beans and roasted potatoes. The steak was very big and thick and juicy and tasty. This was my first visit but it will not be my last. |
