Safe bets for dining at pleasing price points, Marc Murphy's popular French bistros offer hearty Gallic fare paired with especially economical wine lists; the TriBeCa original is more of a neighborhood destination, while the big, loud TWC offshoot is a godsend for shoppers and the stroller set.

Had brunch/lunch here on Sunday March 8, 2015. Day after my husbunds 65th birthday dinner....and a late night!! OH MY! What a treat. Seven of us, noon res., We had invited 2 couples from Philadephia for the previous nights surpize. Next morning we arrive at the Landmarc. I don't even like Bloody Mary's, but I thought, what the heck....If every Bloody Mary was like this...I might need help! :) Seven in our party, and we had a window booth. Tons of room. Ordered a French Toast for the table. Supurb! The rest of our meal, mostly breadfast, was equally good, way above average in fact. The place was very busy, yet the service was seamless. For a venue this size, on a very busy Sunday service, I was amazed and so pleased that the ending to a wonderful birthday weekend ended here on such a high and yummy note. I've told all who will listen, this is a must!

Not worth it. Cold, burned bread, "french" cusine of texas-sized proportions, and blaring new pop music. Expected so much more for the price. Now I'm not saying the food was awful, but some of the very basics were extremely lacking for a proprietor and Chopped judge of such reputation.

Landmarc is a pleasant surprise in Columbus Circle! I thought it would be overpriced and very expensive but turned out it is actually upscale but reasonable especially compared to other restaurants inside the Time Warner building. It also has an amazing view of Central Park so it is perfect for tourists as well as New Yorkers.

We had the bone marrow and fried calamari to start and both are excellent. For entree, I had their fillet mignon. To be honest, I had far better steak but it is usually at a steak house. Given this is a general American restaurant, it is still a good piece of meat and the price is reasonable given it is New York.

I will definitely bring clients or friend/family back here.

Not even worthy of a star.
Service was extremely poor.
Served 1 hamburger raw, sent it back.
Served the replacement 2nd hamburger raw again.
Then over charged us for the other dish which looked and tasted like slop. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

It had been a while since my last visit to Landmarc, and I really should come back more often. Tasty food, good service, reasonable prices (especially for its location) and a friendly attitude towards my bringing my own wine. Special thanks to Mark the wine steward (sommelier). While I did bring my own wine, he was very gracious, and treated my bottle in the same manner as one that would have purchased from him.

If it wasn't for the noise level (a little high for me) and the somewhat tight spacing of the tables, this would be a 5 star review. This may become my regular pre-concert at the Time Warner Center dinner place for the year.
