Food was great. Offering real Mexican and El Salvadoran favorites. The Black Bean dip and chips is an addictive appetizer. Prices are fair and service friendly

Don't get me wrong, I actually quite liked Cuba Linda. The elderly man who worked/ran the place was a fun guy to chat with. The food was good. Anyway, this review is for Latino Restaurant. The menu is completely different and so are the employees. They've also redone the look of the place and they no longer serve Gyros. Thank goodness! For those who care, there was once a restaurant called The Gyro Shack just down the way in this strip mall. They fell on hard times and combined with Cuba Linda for a short time, eventually selling out to Cuba Linda.
Anyway, Latino Restaurant is DELICIOUS! The papusas are excellent and only $2 each. Some days they are on special for $1 each! The people are friendly and the atmosphere is spartan. I wish this place could get some more business so they don't go under. I would hate to lose a little gem like this. I work nearby so I know how many little mom and pop restaurants have struggled in this strip location. My only complaint is that on my most recent visit, the food was served on a paper plate and basket, rather than a traditional plate. I also noticed that none of the silverware matched. But who cares if the food is good!?

Very hidden place that has excellent food. It was pretty slow during my few lunch visits, but worth it as the food rocked. The owner is a very nice guy too.
