10/17/2015 2:47 pmEverything!! The food was great! The service was impeccable and the atmosphere made me never want to leave my seat! It wasn't too crowded, although there was a big party in the back. The rest of the patrons were closed off from the party with a curtain. It was just great... I can't wait to come back! |

12/31/2012 1:30 amFantastic experience here! Though there was slight problem with my dish, the situation was quickly mitigated. The chef is here very innovative and continues to bring creative dishes with thunderous flavorings. Everything is fresh! The bread is made fresh in house and is amazing as well. |

10/30/2012 10:50 pmThere are those who say that there is more happiness in the anticipation than in the actual experience of a good time. Though I don’t fully buy into this belief, I do have to admit that part of the fun of Restaurant Week consists in the expectation phase – the hours spent poring over menus, the final tally and selection of a restaurant, and then the patient waiting for the reservation day to roll around. It is all the more enjoyable when this phase culminates in an evening meeting and even exceeding those expectations. This was certainly my experience with Le Castagne, Rittenhouse Square’s Northern Italian ristorante and our final pick for this semester’s restaurant week expedition. |

05/16/2012 1:31 amPretty expensive, but very worth it. The homemade pasta was fantastic. The gnocchi was great. We went with a large group and it was about $50 per person (even while using a 30% off deal). We had appetizers, entrees, desserts and wine - so when you consider it, not badly priced for the great meal you get. We felt a little under dressed wearing business casual attire, so go on the fancy side. Great meal and was so stuffed. (the pastas have two prices: first plate price and then larger sized entree price). Bon appetite! |
