I had my pre-wedding reception here. We came here for a dim sum brunch. It was recommended to me and my wife-to-be at the check in counter at the Honolulu airport Enterprise Rent-a-Car. It's located in the heart of Chinatown at the Chinese Cultural Plaza. The dim sum is served by the wait staff that pushes carts around. The owner is very helpful and nice. Most of the servers speak limited English, but they accommodated a party of 13 effortlessly.

Now, I'm a big big fan of Chinese food. I've had awesome dim sum in Chinatown in San Francisco, and the San Gabriel Valley. So, basically, before I walked in to the door of this restaurant, I had low expectations to begin with. How good can the Chinese food be in Hawaii? Well, it turns out that it's pretty darn good at Legend Seafood Restaurant. The dim sum here is first rate, and cheap. They have all of the favorites; har gow, shu mai, fried shrimp, etc. etc.

The standout dish is the thin stir fried noodles with bean sprouts and green onions. I forget the name of the noodle dish, but please do yourself a favor and order it with your dim sum.

In summary, party of 13, ate like pigs, tab came out to $150 with tax/tip included. If you've got a hankering for some good Chinese food while you're in Oahu, this is the place to go.

Great atmosphere, friendly service, great dim sum, and easy parking - $1 per hour with validation.

This was actually the first time I ever tried dim sum, and it was a little intimidating, but overall very delicious and fun. We ordered WAY too much food, though, the sweet little ladies pushing the carts around just kept showing us good stuff! We couldn't eat it all, and I felt bad for wasting food, but it was still a very good value. Not much in the way of atmosphere. Good for lunch, then walk it off in Chinatown.
