Levinson's Bakery, Chicago, Illinois Restaurant Details

I've been biking to Levinson's for more than 5 years. Their rye bread and challah are just what I like: fresh and flavorful; the challah's almost like cake w/ raisons, my kid gobbles all she can. And the baker's coffee cakes omg. They are wonderful: chocolate chip, raspberry, pineapple, etc. Rich and moist, the fruit tastes like the baker made it just for the cakes. Wonderful w/ a strong coffee. Yumm. Let's hear it for a solid neighborhood bakery, that's always putting out desirable product at a reasonable cost.

Ordered a couple of b'day cakes from them and they were great. My granddaughter loves going there for their pastry tarts. And they make awesome cookies!!!!
