Front desk associate was courteous and helpful at check in. The room is spacious and clean. When I pulled in close to 11pm, there was security checking names and room numbers so that made me feel more secure.

Getting old compared to competition. No complaints from our visitors.

Pros: Courteous, professional Front Desk and Security staff. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome, even offering a bottle of water upon check-in, and helping us use the business center, including scanning a document for us on their office computer. Our room was clean, too -- kudos to a hard-working Housekeeping staff. The grounds and landscaping was well-kept, especially for an older property.

Cons: The breakfast attendant was more focused on breaking down breakfast exactly at 9 a.m., than on service to guests. It's not a bad thing that she started dismantling things at 9 a.m., since that's what time it ends. I understand that, and respect her efforts to follow the hotel's policy. But here's why it was a problem: We showed up to breakfast at 8:45 (admittedly close to the end), but by that time, the following items were not replenished/gone: waffle mix, regular coffee, yogurt, milk, cups, and ice water. By 9:02 a.m., she was dismantling everything as quickly as possible, and by 9:10 a.m., we literally couldn't even find a napkin. All this while there were multiple people still finishing up their meals. As if to make a point that guests weren't the priority, I noticed hotel staff wandering out of the kitchen with full cups of hot coffee, while the coffee for guests continued to sit empty. Out of curiosity, I looked in the kitchen and found a full coffee dispenser sitting there, ready to serve the hotel staff, but not guests. Unbelievable. They could've simply replaced the lobby coffee with the full pot in the kitchen, and then everyone would've been able to access it.

Other issues:

--There's no dish soap in the room (this is a standard item I've found in every Residence Inn I've stayed in previously).
--Doors to rooms face outdoor breezeways similar to those at apartment buildings. While this is not a big deal, it's strange that they actually seem to encourage smoking in the breezeway area, by placing a smoker's pole (cigarette butt disposal station) inside the breezeway. This meant that as we were taking kids from the car to the room, we had to walk through a haze of smoke from another guest who was standing at the smoking station, puffing away 10 feet from our door.
--The maintenance access door to an A/C unit inside our hotel bathroom was not secured properly, meaning that it hung open, exposing the equipment until we jammed it shut.
--We asked for wakeup calls at 5 and 5:30 a.m. Instead, we got them an hour early, at 4 and 4:30 a.m.
--A hotel security guard knocked on our door around midnight, mistakenly believing we had asked for additional towels.
--The pull-out couch in the room was missing a second pillow and top sheet.
--The walls and ceiling were thin; the traffic from the interstate next to the hotel was very loud in the morning, and we could clearly hear an upstairs guest get out of bed and walk across their room.

Bottom line: This hotel is nowhere near the good quality I've come to expect from Marriott.

Not up to Marriott standards! Dust bunnies on furnace vents, no air filter at all! Peeling paint and mildew in bathroom. Just overall dirty! Keep driving or go try the Towneplace next door.

Greatest hotel experience! The cleanliness, the friendliness, amazing. The room felt like home away from home. We stayed Monday through Friday. It was 2 bedrooms for my family of 5. Even provided a crib for my baby. Flat screen TV's, free wifi, awesome kitchen appliances, REAL fireplace in the living room, I could go on and on!! We had plenty of room. We all enjoyed the daily HUGE breakfast and the 2 dinners that week provided by the hotel. The housekeeping did an excellent job as well. We will surely be back!!! :)
