Food:

First of all, i wouldnt give them a star. I first walked in and the smell of sourness hit me, and the environment was gloomy and scary. Just the appearance and the sudden vibe i got walking in ruined my appetite. But my company i was with wanted to stay and try the food. Well as i have read in previous reviews, the food was bland and unappealing. That was an experience i could have done without. That place has seen its fine dining years ago.

Food:

Ordered food to go, waited longer than they said to head there and the food still wasn't ready when we arrived. Waitress was very polite and working hard, it seemed only 2 waitresses were working the whole dining room. Wanted potato salad, they were out. Wanted jalapeno poppers, they were out. Wanted a Caesar salad, they were out. Food was good- had fries, cole slaw, fried shrimp, and the best hush puppy I've ever had. Shrimp was perfectly breaded and not over fried. Others enjoyed their flounder, crab cakes, and bbq platter. Next time, we will eat there, I bet it tastes even better hot.

As soon as we walked in we had the feeling to just leave. Do we seat ourselves? Taken to a dirty table in the back another reason to leave. Short staffed long wait for service another reason to leave. THE FOOD WAS DISGUSTING. BLAND BUFFET WITH OVERCOOKED FOOD THAT NOBODY EATS AND THEY JUST DONT EVER COME TO CHECK ON IT. VERY FEW SELECTIONS NOT EVEN WORTH IT. No soup bowls oh hew no soup spoons what am I the waiter now. Even the sweat tea tasted like crap. To top it off I was served some crab legs that had big black spots upon further inspection it was totally rotten like it sat on the bottom of a freezer for years and wasn't frozen. The food at Mcdonalds is better then this slop hole. NEVER AGAIN MADE ME SICK

Food:

I often wondered why Lillian's had a bare parking lot (for breakfast and lunch). Food wasn't all that great. My family has been gathering there for the past two months for fellowship purposes and we ate.. At 11:15 we arrived and they took 15 minutes to get drink orders. My grand baby and several of our party had begun to eat from the buffet table before the drinks had arrived. I asked for more tea. It took so long I had to went and found it and refilled my glass. I had to do this twice. Dirty plates lined the table until someone finally removed them. We had already decided that we had had enough. When I asked for the check, I asked her for a cup of ice to go. She never acknowledged that she had even heard me. We assumed that she must have been a new employee but boy did she bring her attitude front and center, When she returned for my signature I informed her that her tip...was given to the cook who had always been nice to us as she did not bring the water back. When I stood up to leave she said,"Next time he can be your waitress."( Boy did I want to place my religion aside and call her a few..no several choice words and names :) Instead I asked to see her manager. BTW...they were of a different race. She pointed the way to a lady taking orders. I waited while she waited on three tables while I stood there. She saw the entire party waiting on her while she really took her time looking our way. I told her what happened she stated she would have her apologize to me immiedately. She returned to us with a black American cook. She said nothing else. This guys said there woulod be no apology because he did not want to create a scene. I told him the truth. They bought him out as a token(fill in the blank) to difuse the situatution He stated that NEXT WEEK when we come we can get our meal half-price. My mother always told me. never bite the hand that feeds your. They have lost the largest party of seven that I'd ever seen there. We always tip very...very well. After a wonderful day at church with Dr. Marriner telling us that we are the light of the world and that we could stand against anything, I still had a great evening with my family. My biggest regret was that I didn't read the other reviews until now.

Food:

Great seafood moderately priced. You definitely get your money worth with the variety of seafood and country food. Best time to visit is Saturday at 5 when they are switching over to mostly all seafood. I wish they had some better table and chairs just to modernize it just a little more. Then it would be a great place to have church banquets that could accommodate the nose in the air folks.
