I visited Lips while on vacation with my 13 year old daughter and it was the BEST TIME we had while we were in San Diego! The LADIES were beautiful, fun, engaging, and very entertaining! The lip synching and dancing was great. The food was very good. I would have expected to pay more so i was surprised how reasonable it was for dinner an a great show. It may have been inappropriate for immature tweens but it gets 2 thumbs up from us.

Lips is okay once, maybe, but not more than that. Just be aware of what you're signing up for when you go to their dinner, brunch or lunch.

For one, the prices are absurd for the amount and quality of the food/drink you receive. Not only that, but service was awful. We had to ask for refills…multiple times…and still didn't receive them. Then, getting microwave-quality food, and asking for a different plate is a huge fiasco - really?

Finally - they REFUSE TO SPLIT THE TAB. We all brought credit cards assuming we would be able to pay for our meals- we were wrong. We were also charged a mandatory tip - which we tried to talk to someone about due to our crappy service, but no one came out to help us or negotiate. At all. Sorry to say, but we refused to pay the tip and ended up just leaving.

I will not return - I'd rather go to Rocky Horror.

Dinner, service and of course the show was excellent! Great place to have birthday celebration or any special occasion.

Decent food, fun atmosphere, great shows! Get out of your comfort zone (though you don't have to get into the drag makeup!) : )
