06/18/2015 8:13 pmTo start we were seated quickly and politely, the atmosphere is good. Like sitting outside shops in little italy although the lighting was a little dim. The salad house vinaigrette was spot on and balanced the acidity with fresh greens. For appetizer me and my guest ordered the fried ravioli. Perfectly fried with good seasoning and a dash of smoked paprika was a nice touch. For the entree me and my guest had "sweetheart of a dish" scallops shrimp and broccoli over a bed of pasta. Only different is that I ordered angel Hair pasta and my guest ordered linguine. Serving sizes were enormous. Scallops and shrimp cooked perfectly, pasta as well but the angel hair was either unable to absorb enough of the sauce or they put to much on the plate, drowning it like an oil slick. I tried some of my guests linguine and it did not have that problem, so as a suggestion I would go with larger pastas or rigatoni. Other then that the service was excellent and polite and I would definitely eat here again. |

08/22/2014 2:00 amWe have been coming to this restaurant for 6 years now, and we are italian from the bronx, which might give us a good qualification for judging a Italian place, we grew up eating italian food, anyway, this place is one of our favorite places to eat, period, not just on the shore, but anywhere, the host is always welcoming , probably cause we come 5, 6 times a season, lets start with the bread, awesome, calamari, baked clams, outa this world, zupe de pesce, which they call something else, is something else, veal dishes, very tasty, penne alla vodka outa this world, so if u wanna great place, and not a cheap meal, you will love it, egg noodles with ketchup, not here. |

08/21/2014 9:31 pmEnjoyed the food and had a pleasant experience with two young kids. Be aware that they charge for sharing plates, are BYOB, and don't even give crayons for kids (kind of a no-brainer to me, especially if you want to be family friendly). Despite that, still enjoyed the food. |
